Administrator of Training & Development

Job Purpose

The Training & Development Administrator will provide support to the Training & Development team in the carrying out of its training programs and to contribute to the wider organization with reception and office administration support.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all the aspects of Training & Developments multiple calendars, as well as assisting with training and visitor related bookings.
  • Responsible for coordination of training and visits with vendors.
  • Ensure all requests are followed up with and met.
  • Assist with any reporting needed for training or brand onboarding.
  • Will lead, guide, and train staff, interns, and/or volunteers on essential/core information.
  • Oversee and ensure upkeep of company Intranet.
  • Monthly upkeep of organizational charts.
  • Responsible for assigning and tracking required new hire employee trainings.
  • Assist with mapping out training plans and schedules.
  • Maintain filing and record keeping of digital and paper resources.
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of policy and procedures related to Training & Development unit and office administration functions.  
  • Attend and support training and related team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or designee.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to effectively communicate written & orally
  • Professional and calm demeanor
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans
  • Related experience a plus
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong report writing and record keeping ability
